Adevoi

Adevoi is a multilingual communication platform designed to enhance two-way communication between business parks and their tenants. This project was developed as part of a bachelor thesis assigned by Mustad Næringspark. The system allows business park administrators to have administrative control over their tenants and send targeted information to specific user groups. For tenants, the system functions as a centralised digital information hub, facilitating easy access to important updates and announcements.

About

The system is designed to enable administrators of a business park to easily broadcast information to their tenants and allow easy management of employees, companies and user-made groups. Administrators can create announcements and events, publish them on the system, and send them via email. They can also specify which user-created tenant groups should receive the information, ensuring it reaches the intended audience. The system is fully multilingual, requiring user-generated content to be available in multiple languages. To facilitate this, the system includes an AI-based translation tool.

Before development, we conducted several thorough design methods, including card sorting, low-fidelity (lo-fi) and high-fidelity (hi-fi) prototyping, and user testing. The system was developed using Remix. For styling, we utilized Tailwind CSS and the Shadcn/ui component library. Supabase was used as the primary database, and Resend was integrated for email sending. For internationalization, we implemented i18n. To assist in translating user-generated content, we developed an experimental AI translator feature using the ChatGPT API.
